Travel up the N1 away from Cape Town until you reach Century City then follow the N7 to Malmesbury. At the town approach take the first slip way to the left and turn back under the N7 into the town, passing the two Bokomo grain silos on your left. Turn left at the second traffic light and follow the R46 for approx 15 kilometers. Drive over the Bothmanskloof pass then down into the valley, turning left onto the R311, towards Riebeek Kasteel, which will be signposted.

The Cape Francolin Art Hotel is the second driveway on the right, and the guesthouse has a blue roof, being directly opposite the Olive Boutique. If you reach the barn, you’ve gone too far.

If you are approaching from Stellenbosch, take the R44 via Paarl and Wellington, turn left onto the R46 at the Hermon turn off and continue till you again reach the R311, which in this case will involve turning right. The Cape Francolin Art Hotel is again second on the right.
